This policy describes how your personal data is collected, used and protected when you browse restaurantarras.fr, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended (the French Data Protection Act). It is kept up to date according to the features actually active on the site.

Data controller

The data controller is Facem Web (SASU with share capital of €2,000, Arras Trade Register 790 056 022), 1 rue Chanzy, 62000 Arras, France. The Data Protection Officer (DPO) is Xavier Deloffre, reachable at contact@restaurantarras.fr.

Data collected and purposes

The site collects data only where necessary:

  • Contact and listing form: name, email address and message, in order to answer your request and, where applicable, to create or amend an establishment listing.
  • Reviews area: when you post a review, your name or nickname and your email address (via your account) are stored, along with the review content, for publication after moderation.
  • Browsing data: for technical and security reasons, the server records logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed).

Recipients and sub-processors

Your data is neither sold nor rented. It is accessible to the publisher and its host OVH (technical storage). The map backgrounds on the listings are provided by OpenStreetMap and some illustrative images by Wikimedia Commons: by displaying this content, your browser sends your IP address to these third-party services.

Transfers outside the European Union

Hosting is provided in France. Third-party content (maps, images) may be delivered via distribution networks that may operate outside the European Union; these services have their own compliance safeguards.

Legal basis and retention

Contact requests are based on your approach (pre-contractual steps or legitimate interest) and are kept for up to 3 years after the last exchange. Reviews are based on your consent and are kept for as long as they are published. Technical logs are kept for a limited period (up to 12 months).

Cookies and trackers

The site sets cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. Any audience-measurement cookies are only set after your consent, obtained via the cookie banner (accept, refuse or customise). You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookies" link.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. To exercise them, write to contact@restaurantarras.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Security

The publisher implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
